 "From Clash to Collaboration"
 

Handled well, even difficult conversations can lead to somthing positive - this course shows you how.

Conflict is inevitable - but poor handing isn't. This engaging full-day course gives staff the skills to turn tension into productive, professional conversations. Through practical tools, real-lift scenarios, and proven models, participants learn how conflict escalates, how to de-escalate it, and how to communicate with confidence - transforming difficult situations into opportunities for collaboartion.

Aims & Outcomes
 

To equip participants with the skills to manage workplace conflict professionally, confidently, and constructively. Participants will;

·       Understand how conflict develops and escalates.

·       Recognise behaviour patterns (e.g. Drama Triangle)

·       Use active listening to build trust and reduce tension

·       Apply de-escalation techniques such as “Roll with         
        Resistance”.

·       Communicate assertively using the DESC model

·       Respond to challenging situations calmly and
        professionally.

Some of the most serious risks aren’t always obvious — this helps you recognise what might otherwise be missed.  A half day introductory course helping frontline workers to identify hidden risks, recognise exploitation and act to safeguard vulnerable people.
